You’ve probably noticed it too - things are shifting. And it’s not just the air or the weather. There’s this growing buzz around doing things better. With Earth Day 2025 coming up, the theme Our Power, Our Planet couldn’t be more spot on. It’s a reminder that we actually can do something. Real stuff. Like moving away from fossil fuels and getting behind clean, renewable energy.
Being an eco-friendly business with sustainability in mind, we care about this stuff. For us, sustainability is not just a buzzword that we talk about. It’s embedded in our business core, and it’s something we try to put into practice every day. From the ingredients we use to how we package things, we’re always asking, “How can we do this in a way that’s better for the planet?”
So let’s talk about Earth Day 2025. About what’s possible, what we can do, and how all of us, together, can help power a cleaner future.

So let’s talk about Earth Day 2025. About what’s possible, what we can do, and how all of us, together, can help power a cleaner future.
How You Can Plug Into the Movement
You don’t need to have solar panels on your roof or live off-grid to make a difference (though if you do, that’s seriously impressive). Earth Day 2025 is all about showing up in your own way, and everyone doing a little bit, wherever they are. That’s how real change happens.
So, where do you start?
1. Educate Yourself and Others
Start conversations. Share what you know. Follow reliable sources. Be the mate that casually drops sustainability facts at a barbie. Knowledge is power, and the more we understand renewable energy, the faster we’ll embrace it.
2. Advocate for Change
Speak up. Write to your local MP. Support businesses and policies that push for clean energy investment. Vote with your wallet and your voice.
3. Mobilise and Get Involved
Join a clean-up crew in your community. Support local climate rallies. Switch to a green energy provider. Volunteer for eco-friendly initiatives. It’s all about moving from “someone should do something” to “I’m doing something.”
Euca’s Commitment to the Clean Energy Future
Euca is not just selling laundry and cleaning products, we’re cleaning up more than clothes and homes. At Euca, sustainability is stitched into our DNA. Our mission has always been simple: give Aussies a better, safer, and more eco-conscious way to clean.
Here’s how we’re already walking the talk:
We use sustainably sourced, natural ingredients with the Australian Eucalyptus as the foundation of the majority of our laundry and cleaning products. Over time, we’ve expanded beyond eucalyptus to include a blend of Australian essential oils like citrus, lavender, jasmine, lemon myrtle, clove, coconut and more.
Our products are grey water and septic safe (your garden will love you for it). Natural ecosystems do best when the pH sits between 6 and 8—and that’s exactly where Euca’s eco-friendly cleaning products land. By keeping our pH levels in that ideal range, we’re doing our bit to protect the balance of your garden and the environment.
Our manufacturing is proudly low-tox and mindful of our environmental impact. Our products have been tested by Lanfax Laboratories, and the results show that Euca contains some of the lowest levels of trace elements linked to environmental degradation.
We’re big believers in the power of small changes, that’s why we have embraced refillution and bulk buying. Instead of tossing out bottle after bottle, we offer bulk options and our forever trigger sprays that you can keep refilling again and again. Our laundry and cleaning products come in eco-refill boxes—think cask-style, like a good old wine box—designed to reduce single-use plastic without skimping on performance. And if you're really keen, we have larger tubs too, all the way up to 20 litres.
And did you know? Proud Products, guardians of the trade name Euca, has been awarded the CHEP Sustainability Certificate for the year 2023, reaffirming our commitment to contributing to more sustainable supply chains by using more sustainable packaging choices.
By choosing Euca, you’re choosing a better, safer and more sustainable way to clean your homes. It’s these everyday decisions—what we buy, what we use, and who we support—that shape the future.
