Fabric Softeners

Clean the Dispenser Drawer

This is one of the forgotten, but most important jobs. If your machine has dispenser drawers in place, they need to be checked for any built-up residue. Pop them out, take them apart and rinse them using the Euca Multi to help melt any grime away. Use hot water if possible. Now, for the tricky part: if the drawer can be removed completely, you need to have a look above at the area where the drawer usually sits. This is where the water dispenser is located and where water can sit for long periods. When it is mixed with laundry detergent, it produces gunk and mould, which can clog jets. You can use a toothbrush or any other small brush to clean the area. Remember once finished, wipe completely dry and then reassemble and reinsert the drawer into the machine.

Note: Always try to leave the drawer slightly open after each wash to make sure that it dries.

Always Take Clean Clothes Out Promptly

Remove your clean clothes as soon as the wash cycle is finished to avoid the musty odour buildup that can occur if they are left standing for an extended period.

Wipe and Dry your Machine after each Use

Yes, another cleaning tip that is sure to save you time later. We recommend after each washing period, that you wipe down the rubber gasket to prevent the growth of mould. Wipe and dry the drum and exterior as best as you can. Lastly, leave the door or lid open to fully dry. This may take a few days, but we recommend you leave them open to dry fully.
